Ecolab Participation
Henkel has a 29.3 percent stake in Ecolab Inc., a company listed in the USA. Ecolab is marketing products and services for industrial and institutional hygiene, textile hygiene, vehicle cleaning and automotive care, water treatment, pest control, and commercial kitchen service.
The market value of this participation as of September 30, 2008 amounted to about 2.5 billion euros.
